Women as a target group were chosen because their share on the total unemployment in our region is considerably higher than the share of men. Into this group we can place long term unemployed women, women alumni, women after maternity leave, women dismissed due to economic savings and others). Project was connected to an internet portal which was created for the purpose of searching and matching together the future women entrepreneurs, to get an overview of accounting and law service providers, business premises and other necessary information for running a business. Within the portal an e-learning product was developed which prepares women for their future business activity. Project was supported by diversity of partners – representatives of theory and practice and labour offices. Project was funded by the Phare 2003 programme.
